Another weekend getaway at PMC

Chloe got another dose of 3 or 4 chemo's this weekend. Should be getting a peanutbutter shot (peg shot) in each leg here in an hour or so... she doesn't know it yet, and don't like to tell her, hurts pretty bad, as we know of the first go around. Last week she had a bad reaction to one of the chemo drugs so I was a little worried about her this week. It doesn't help that they come in to give her the drug in a haz-mat suit and have an emergency revival kit next to her bed "just in case". It's really scary if you dwell on the possible side effects, what ifs, or the statistics so i just try and not think of it too much cause it really brings me down.

Kinsey and Kelly came last night to visit for a bit which was nice, thanks girls. Kins stayed and played some games with Chloe and I, and Chloe won every game.

She is feeling better this morning and ate two bowls of cereal, more than she has eaten all week. She is tired of being here though and just waiting for them to let her go home. Right now she is getting some platletts because hers are low and she started to bleed a bit from her broviak (permanent IV in her chest). So hopefully the platletts will help and we can go home. Her blood counts are a little low as well which means she can catch infections easy. Sounds like she have to be quarantined at home for a bit until she bounces back.
