Actually there weren't any floating objects. Chlo has been having a lot of stomach pain and diareha that is completely transparent fluid that is the color of cream soda. The doctor thought it might be CDif or Crypto which she has had before, but all the tests are coming back negative. They took some more samples today to see if they can get an bacteria to grow and figure out what it is. We have kept her nurse busy today with all the test, blood draws, bed changes, new meds and a 2 hr dressing change. She hates the dressing changes... even more so when she is really tired and mom isn't here. She has been feeling pretty junky again today and is not tolerating my teasing. I'm just trying to liven up the hum drum of the hospital, but i guess i need to lay off until she feels better.
Chloe keeps having nose bleeds too. Common among BMT kids I guess. She just had a platlette transfusion to help them clot sooner, and today another red cell transfusion. It's not normal for a blood transfusion to feel like just another day, is it?
I ate some chicken noodle soup that was heavy on the noodle, light on the chicken. Nevertheless, it was fairly decent.
