unwelcomed junk is back

She just can't kick this C diff! (darn it!) She is also getting a blood transfusion today. Her levels are a bit low so she is being preped for the blood with benedryl. Her last TBI is today at 3 oclock! Her cheeks are a little puffy because of it. They tell me it will go down today or tommorow. she is always a little groggy afterwards. They are bringing up a rhodes cinnamon roll for her today and hopefully she will eat it, she hasn't eaten much. We haven't heard back from the blood cultures for her fever, it takes a few days for anything to grow if there is any infection. We had a bit of snow here and another patient was being transported to the hunstman for TBI and the mini fan wouldn't make it up the small hill so the security guard made the tech get the wheel chair out and push the patient up the hill!! Can you believe that!! Poor girl, plus she is really little and she said it was really hard. Not only that but the patient is immune compromised!! sheeesh.
